Rosalía de Castro was an important poet in Galician language in the 19th Century. She wrote Cantares gallegos and Follas novas, two important masterpieces in our language. This year, we celebrate the 150 aniversary of Cantares gallegos, the first book which was written only in Galician language after The Dark Centuries (Galician people didn't write literature from 16th Century to 18th Century , only spoke the language but no wrote it).
